When you’re in striving, struggle and scarcity, it’s really a feeling of being disconnected from a higher power, and the support of a loving universe that’s organizing around your success. This feeling of separation can cause the experience of deep unworthiness, not being safe, insecurity, fear and scarcity. You may believe it’s not for you, that there’s not enough and feel as if you don’t belong. You may also believe you’re flawed and need to fix yourself, and the need to control things in order to feel safe in this world…
But I want to lovingly invite you to stop trying to fix yourself. There’s nothing wrong with you, you’ve just been wounded. We all have. Instead, you’re being invited to HEAL yourself.
You may have forgotten that you are already whole, beautiful and powerful!
And so now your Soul is calling you to heal the wounds that have kept you from fully embracing and embodying your True Self, and fulfilling your Soul’s deeper calling.

About Gertrud
I was born and raised in the Netherlands and moved to the US with my family when I was 16. After completing my Bachelor’s in Fashion Design & Marketing I moved back to Europe and finished my degree in International Business (Marketing & Management). During that time of my life I lived, studied and worked in Spain, New Zealand, South Africa, and eventually in the Netherlands again. From there I started my career in international business (in fashion and later in marketing of health care products).
What you just read above is also my story.
During my mid-thirties, when I was working in a demanding marketing job, I burned myself out and ended up on sick leave for seven months. For years I had completely ignored my own needs, boundaries and wellbeing and learned the hard way. To be honest, life felt like a struggle.
After a deep soul search, I decided to give up my career. I retrained as a coach and therapist (and later also as a yoga teacher and energy healer), and started my own business/practice in 2007. It was one of the best decisions I ever made.
However, this career switch didn’t solve all of my issues. Still my old patterns would come to the surface. Even after all the training, coaching and therapy that I had done. It wasn’t until I discovered The Compassion Key® and the other healing modalities I now work with, that I realized how disconnected I had become from my True Self.
I was taught to work ‘hard’ and never knew how to work and live from the ‘heart’. So, in order to reconnect with my own truth I had to heal my deeper programming. Because that was the handbrake that kept me from manifesting the life my Soul was guiding me to live.
And that’s when things really started to shift for me. I noticed my stress and anxiety decreased, my business and finances improved considerably, and my relationships became easier and more profound. I felt happier, more joyful and for the first time in my life I experienced a sense of ease, inner peace and fulfillment.
That doesn’t mean that my life is always perfect now. But I’m forever grateful for the transformation this work has brought me.
And that’s what I wish for you as well!

My session with Gertrud was just incredible! She led me gently and beautifully into my earliest experience of a topic. What came up for me was unexpected and intense but she understood and almost seemed to read my mind as she gently guided me through the loveliest, most healing compassion phrases. Little by little I felt that part of me becoming whole again, she even looked different.
